BROWS
Perfect brows come in many looks which can be achieved by different techniques. Learn about some of the different types of brows that you can have with permanent makeup and get back to discuss what’s best for you.
Microblading:
Microblading is for a more natural, fuller brow look. Distinguished by thin hair strokes, it gives the effect of fuller but stunningly natural-looking eyebrows. Microblading can fill in sparse or bald spots in your brow area. This is the perfect enhancement for those who want more natural-looking brows rather than a dramatic style.
Recommended for:
- WNormal to dry skin
- WNot too dense but not too sparse brows
Our pigment is determined based on skin tone and hair color, so your brand-new microbladed brows are guaranteed to accentuate your features naturally.
Ombre Brows:
The effect is a gradient, dual-tone from light to dark like the Ombré hairstyle. For the fashion-forward makeup-lovers, the Ombré Brows are another excellent choice. We can add it on top of Combination/HybridBrows, or you can opt for the style without the other enhancements.
Think of it as manicured eyebrows, as they appear sleek and bold, starting with a gentle powder effect and gradually transitioning to a bolder finish. Ombré brows have more definition, and they’re perfect for those who love keeping up with the changing fashion trends. You’ll make quite an impression wearing this ultra-fab style!
Recommended for:
- WAll skin types
- WBoth sparse and dense brows
- WTrendy makeup-lovers
Powder Fill Brows:
This option is for makeup-filled, powdery-looking eyebrows; fuller aesthetically with various styles. Powder Fill Brows are the best alternative if you’re not a good candidate for Microblading due to oily or sensitive skin, or if you have over-plucked eyebrows. From soft powder-filled brows to bold and dense eyebrows, the option to add the gradient effect is perfect for those who love the look of makeup.
Recommended for:
- WOily and sensitive skin types
- WVery sparse or over-plucked eyebrows
- WThose who love the look of makeup
Combination Brow/Hybrid Brow:
This is a combination of microblading and shading (with an optional ombré effect); the combination brows will give you denser, more defined brows with a hint of makeup. This style is still natural-looking, starting with feathered hair strokes transitioning into a powder finish toward the tails. It gives your brows added definition that is less prominent in microbladed brows. This is a great middle-ground if you can’t decide between the primary brow options.
Recommended for:
- WAll skin types
- WBoth sparse and dense brows
- WWant both the microblading and microshading styles

Brow Healing From Start to Finish
Days 1-3: Brows are anywhere from 20-40% darker and bolder than they will be when fully healed; redness under the skin causes the pigment to look darker. Do NOT touch them for the first 3 days, even when they start to itch closer to day 3. Keep VERY dry.
Days 4-7: Apply a thin layer of Vaseline, A&D Ointment, or Aquaphor to your brows, just enough to keep them moist and protected. Brows will start flaking closer to day 4, peeling from the outer edges first.
Days 5-13: Pigmented skin will continue to flake off, giving a softer, grayer appearance until the color can reach better visibility. Do NOT pick or peel skin; it will cause blotching!
Day 14: Your brows will have reached a richer color, but there may still be some lingering patchiness.
4 Week Later: It’s time for a touch-up! We’ll schedule this visit 4-6 weeks post your initial brow appointment, re-filling any faded areas and ensuring your brows stay perfect.
